BUYING

Q: How long will it be before I receive my order?

 

A: For standard shipping, please allow up to 72 business hours for processing. You should receive your order within 5-10 business days after processing.  

 

Q: Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?

 

A: At this time orders may only be shipped within the United States. However, we do plan to ship internationally in the future.  

 

Q: I found an item with only one color and one size. Do you have it in any other colors or sizes?

 

A: Unfortunately, certain items we carry only come in one size and/or one color. This is something you will normally see because we are a thrift store and customers usually sell us individual pieces. Check our New Arrivals section for updates.  

 

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

 

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. These options will appear on our checkout page.  

 

Q: Can I put an item on hold or layaway?

 

A: At this present time we are not able to save or set aside any items.  

 

Q: How much do you charge for shipping?

 

A: If you spend $75 or more, it’s free. However, prices vary depending on the item–––some items even include shipping. 

 

Q: My order status is still “processing”. What does this mean?

 

A: If your order is still in processing status, it means your purchases are being prepared for shipment. We ask that you please allow 72 business hours for processing. Don’t worry though, we will send you an email once your item has been shipped.  

 

Q: What sizes do you sell?

 

A: We sell all sizes for Kids (infant, toddler, kids and juniors) but up to 3X in size for adults.  

 

Q: Can I return an item that is on sale or final sale?

 

A: No. We are unable to return sale or final sale items.  

 

Q: How will I know what is considered sale or final sale.

 

A: All sale item prices will appear in red. We will express final sale items by the price and conditions

 

Q: Do you accept exchanges?

 

A: No, we don’t. If you’re not happy with your purchase, just return it within 7 days and buy another item. Click here to check out our return policy.  

 

SELLING

Q: How do I know what Hadmidow will buy?

 

A: We only select items that we think our customers want to buy. We purchase items from the ages zero to infinity. We look for items that are popular, fashionable, and unique. If you can answer yes to all the following questions, your chances of selling with us is at 90%:

  •  Is your item(s) Name Brand? 
  • Is your item(s) new or gently used? 
  • Is your item(s) a popular fashionable piece?

 If you answered no to any questions your chances of selling with us start to decline. Don’t worry though, it won’t hurt to still try. Click here to fill out our simple form. All questions require validation by a Hadmidow associate, so be honest.

 

Q: What do you mean by “Name Brand”?

 

A: A famous maker or manufacturer that customers will be familiar with, as opposed to by a generic manufacturer that customers may not know. 

 

Q: Is there a maximum amount of items I can send?

 

A: No. If we love it all, will take it all. 

 

Q: Do you buy swimwear, sleepwear, intimates or lingerie?

 

A: Yes, but it must be unworn, in original package, with tags attached. These items must be new.

 

Q: How long will it take for me to receive payment?

 

A: When your shipment is received wait 3 to 5 business days for us to mail your check. 48 business hours for PayPal Deposit or 24 business hours for Trade. Payment details for consignment apply 7 business days after the item is sold. 

 

Q: What sizes do you buy?

 

A: We buy all sizes for Kids (infant, toddler, kids and juniors) but up to 3X in size for Adults. 

 

Q: How much will I earn for my items?

 

A: We pay 30% resell value.  

 

Q: Do you buy maternity clothes?

 

A: Yes.  

 

Q: Do you buy wedding dresses?

 

A: Yes; however we suggest to consign this type of item if it’s over $200. We pay 40% on consigned items.  

 

Q: What is PayPal?

 

A: PayPal is a payment method for online businesses to send and receive money online. Click here for more details.  

 

Q: What payment methods are used to pay sellers?

 

A: Sellers have three options: Check, Trade store credit or PayPal Deposit. 

 

Q: Who pays for shipping if my items need to be returned to me?

 

A: Sellers pay for return shipping. We are not responsible for shipping if you change your mind or the quote changes because of mismatched conditions found.  

 

CONSIGNMENT

Q: What is consignment?

 

A: Consignment is when the consignor (Customer) retains ownership of their item until it’s sold. You receive 40% profit (verses 30% when you sell). Payment is not made until and unless the item sells. Click here to fill out our simple form.

 

Q: What type of items do you consign?

 

A: We love current fashionable designer clothes, shoes and accessories. Feel free to consign bridal gowns, tuxedos, limited editions and one of a kinds.  

 

Q: How long will it take for me to receive payment?

 

A: 7 business days after your item is sold wait 3 to 5 business days for us to mail your check. 48 business hours for PayPal Deposit or 24 business hours for Trade. Payment processing starts 7 business days after your item is sold.  

 

Q: What is PayPal?

 

A: PayPal is a payment method for online businesses to send and receive money online.  

 

Q: What payment methods are used to pay consignors?

 

A: Consignors have three options: Check, Trade store credit or PayPal Deposit.  

 

Q: Who pays for shipping if my items need to be returned to me?

 

A: Consignors pay for return shipping. We will do everything we can to get your items sold within 30 days. However, nothing is guaranteed. If your items don’t sell you’ll get an email with details on how to get your items back. Any items left an additional 10 days after 30 day period will be donated.  

 

Q: Is there a minimum amount for consignment?

 

A: Yes. Each item’s current value must be at least $200 and up. 

 

TRADE

Q: What is trade?

 

A: Rather than taking cash for your items, opt to trade. You receive 50% store credit of the selling or sold price of your items. We give you a trade credit certificate to use and purchase any item with us online.  

 

Q: How long does my trade credit last?

 

A: One year from the issue date.  

 

Q: I selected trade for payment. How long will it take to receive my credit?

 

A: Trade takes 24 business hours to process. If this is for a consignment item wait 7 business days after your item is sold then expect your credit within 24 business hours.  

 

Q: I used trade credit when I made my purchase. Will I get my credit back if I return it?

 

A: Yes. However, all purchases and returns must be made within the one year period. For example, if you purchase something when your credit is valid then try to return it after your credit has expired, we won’t accept any returns.

 

COUPONS

Q: How long does your coupon last?

 

A: It depends on the coupon. The life of our coupons can last for 24 hours to 90 days. Please review your coupon details when you get it.

 

Q: I returned the item I used my coupon on. Can I get it back?

 

A: No. There’s no way to return a coupon once it’s been used. Check out our sales section we always carry good deals there.
